Sage 50 Stock Adjustments In Addon - (£99+VAT)
Fast and efficient entering of Sage Line 50 Stock Inwards Adjustments.
- A high speed search facility will locate products by code or text within the product description.
- Enter quantity and total cost price. The unit cost price will be calculated.
- Optionally enter a new unit sales price for the product.
- Hit Load and the program will create the 'AI' transaction in the Sage Line 50 product history.
- A list shows the adjustments that you have already entered in the current session.
- The program can be run from a button in the Line 50 product module.

Run the Sage 50 Stock Adjustments In program by:
- If you have Financial Controller you can run the program by clicking the button on the Sage Line 50 Product module tool bar.
- Or by selecting “Adept Tools” and then “Adjustments In ” from the Windows Start Button / Programs Menu.
Set the Sage 50 Stock Adjustment In Program Options
Cache Product List
- If the "Cache Product List" box is ticked the program will keep it's own list of products to allow for a quick startup.
- You will need to select the "Refresh" menu option whenever new producst are added to the the Line 50 product file.
- If this option is not ticked the program will load the entire Line 50 product file each time it is started up.
Cache Selection Field
- You can restict the products that are available to be adjusted in by selecting one of the fields in the "Cache Selection Field" box.
- If you select one of the three product custom fields the program will only select products that have a Y in the corresponding box on the product record's Web tab.
- f you select WEB_PUBLISH the program will only select products that have a tick in the Publish to Web box on the product record's Web tab.
Search Description
- If the "Search Descriptions" box is ticked you will be able to search for products by entering a word from the product description.
- Unticking the box will turn this feature off.
Min Search Length
- The "Min Search Length" is the number of characters that have to be entered before the search facility is activated.
- If you have a large number of products you may need to increase this to 4 or more.
Sage 50 Stock Adjustments In - Main Program Screen
- The window can be resized by dragging the corners or edges.
- The status bar at the bottom of the window will display a progress bar when the program is busy.
- When the program is idle, the number of products is displayed.
Product Box
- Enter the code of the product to be edited in this box.
- Alternatively you can enter a word from the product's description and a list of matches will be displayed.
- Click on an entry in the list to select it. If only one match is found the product will be automatically selected.
Quantity Box
- Enter the quantity of product that you want to adjust in.
- You can also change the quantity by clicking on the up and down arrows or by pressing the up and down keys.
- The number of decimal places allowed is set in Sage 50 by going to Settings / Product Defaults and adjusting the Quantity D.P.
Total Cost Box
- Enter the total cost price of the product (before division by the quantity).
Unit Cost Box
- This box will display the Unit Cost Price as calculated by the program.
- The number of decimal places shown is set in Sage 50 by going to Settings / Product Defaults and adjusting the Unit D.P.
Load Button
- When you have selected a Product and entered the Quantity and Total Cost etc you can click this button to create the Adjustment In transaction in Sage 50.
Refresh Button
- Click this button to refresh the list of Products held in the program's cache.
- You will need to do this if new products have been added to the Sage Product file
- This button will only be enabled if the "Cache Product List" option has been selected on the Options dialog.
The History List
- Each time an Adjustment In is entered the program will enter the details at the top of the list.
- If necessary you can scroll the list up and down with the scroll bar that will appear at the right hand side.

The quantity of the product that was adjusted in. |
| Product |
The product code and description of the product. |
| Total CP |
The total cost price of the product before being divided by the quantity. |
| Unit CP |
The calculated unit cost price of the product. |
| Unit SP |
The unit sales price of the product |

Click this button to pop up the program menu.

Refresh Menu Option
- Select this option to refresh the list of products held in the program's cache.
- You will need to do this if new products have been added to the Sage Line 50 / Sage 50 Accounts Product file.
- This menu option will only be displayed if the "Cache Product List" option has been selected on the Options dialog.

Simple and Straightforward
Installation of the Stock Adjustments In for Sage Line 50 / Sage 50 is simple and straightforward and should take no more than a few minutes. Comprehensive step-by-step instructions are provided.
Prior to installation you will need to:
- Ensure that you have installed all the appropriate patches and updates from the Sage update site for your version of Sage (comprehensive notes are provided with the download)
- Obtain from Sage a Serial and Activation key to enable '3rd Party Integration'.
Notes and telephone numbers are provided with the download but Sage will want to know the main serial number for your copy of Sage and the version number - found by going to Sage 50,'s HELP / ABOUT menu option.
N.B. The same 3rd Party Integration keys can be used for all addons that require them
