This Program prevents the agony of loosing all your Product Memos after fixing or compressing the Line 50 Product File.

Will backup all your product memos into single backup file.
Verify option will check the integrity of the backup file.
Restore option will reinstate your Product memos if Sage manages to jumble them.
Enquiry option will list all Products that have an attached memo. You can then click on a product to view the memo.
Locates orphaned product memo files.
The program can be run from a button on the Sage Line 50 product screen (Financial Controller only).

Run the program from either:

Sage 50 Accounts / Sage Line 50 Product Memos Backup button on the Products module tool bar

The 'Import Invoices' button on the Sage Line 50 / Sage 50 Accounts Invoice module tool bar if you have Financial Controller / Accounts 50 Professional (as shown Above)
Or, from the Windows Start Button > Programs Menu > Adept Tools > Import Invoices

The Main Program Window

Sage 50 Accounts / Sage Line 50 Product Memos Backup - Main Program Screen

The program automatically defaults to the Sage data for the last company that you selected when logging on to Sage 50 Accounts / Sage Line 50.

Click on a memo in the left panel to see it's contents in the right panel.

The memo backup file is called ILM-BAK.DTA and is held in the ACCDATA directory along with the rest of the Sage data and will be automatically included in a normal Sage backup.

The memo backup file is a text file and can be viewed in Notepad if you need to view outside of Sage or the Sage 50 Product Memo Backup program

Backup

Click the Backup button to create a backup and automatically verify it.
Before compressing your data via Sage's File > Maintenance > Compress routine, click the Backup button to backup the current set of memos.

Verify

After compressing your data via Sage's File > Maintenance > Compress routine, click the Verify button to check for any ILM errors.
Any discrepancies will produce an error message.

Restore

The Restore button will delete all current memo files and restore them from the backup.
Take a reliable Sage backup before using the Restore option.
A confirmation dialog is presented, as below, in case you inadvertently click the button by mistake.
